Applying for a mortgage with us via your mortgage broker is easy.

Once your broker has decided a Gen H mortgage is right for you, they'll ask you for a series of information and documents. Once they have what they need, they'll submit the application on your behalf.

Information you'll have to provide

This isn't an exhaustive list, but in general, you'll need to provide info like:

  • Your full name and birthday

  • Your national insurance number

  • Your address history

  • Proof of your right to reside, if applicable

  • Details of your employment

  • Info about the property you're buying or remortgaging

Documents you'll have to provide

This list also isn't exhaustive, but in general, you'll need to provide documents like:

  • Your bank statements

  • Payslips

  • Proof of your address using something like a utility bill or bank statement

  • Proof of your identity using something like a utility bill or bank statement

  • Proof that you have enough deposit

These bits of information and documents will need to prove that you are who you say you are and that you can afford the mortgage you're applying for.

Your broker will tell you exactly what you need to provide and share everything with us. It's important to be prompt and accurate in sharing everything with your broker to keep the process moving along smoothly.
