With something more serious on your record, like a County Court Judgement (CCJ), hope isn’t lost, but you'll need to dedicate some time and effort into improving your score.

Your credit report typically shows the past six years of your financial activity. If you build up good credit in that time, you can improve your chances of getting a mortgage.

We are unable to accept any defaults or CCJs over £100 in the last 3 years. We also require applicants to have at least a "good" credit score.
