While there’s no official maximum age at application, your age will determine the mortgage term available to you.

If you are applying for a mortgage on your own, we could lend up to a maximum age of 75 years old.

However, if you are applying with someone else or as part of a group, our maximum lending age is 85 years old.

As part of your application we'll ask about your planned retirement age. This is to ensure that you’ll be able to repay your mortgage if extends into your retirement.

Please note that we cannot help if all applicants are retired for the mortgage term.

What about the minimum age?

If you're buying as a group, one applicant must be 21 years of age. The other applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
