If you are on a mortgage currently as an income booster, and you have never owned a property yourself, this means you are still classed as a first time buyer.
Would this be acceptable to apply for the Help to Buy equity scheme?
If you are being removed as the income booster you may proceed to apply.
If you are staying on as the income booster this will need to be referred to Homes England to make a decision.
You can find a step by step guide on how to apply for the scheme here, including the eligibility rules. This includes contacting your local Help to Buy agent. You can find details on how to find a Help to Buy agent here.
