Feeling worried about money is never a good time.

If you're worried about your ability to make your mortgage payments, or if you've already missed one, please reach out to us right away โ€“ the sooner you're in touch, the sooner we can find a solution.

There are a number of support options that we can offer you, and the path we choose together will be tailored to your specific circumstances. This could include options like:

  • Changing your payment date to fit in with your circumstances,

  • An arrangement to repay payment shortfalls over a period of time,

  • Changing your mortgage product or term, or

  • Waiving your interest or capital repayment for a period of time.

We'll have a look at your income and expenditure and decide on an action plan together.

Missing a mortgage payment can have a serious impact on your credit score and your ability to get more credit in the future, so it's critical we work together to stay on top of any difficulty you're having.

Contacting us to talk about your options won't affect your credit rating. Where it might be helpful, we can also let you know about any independent organisations that offer free specialist advice which could be helpful to you in managing your financial situation.

You can also find more resources on our money worries page.
