As a deposit booster, you are not named on the mortgage or the title deeds so you have no responsibility to pay the mortgage.

What security do I have over the money I lend?

For security, we have our Gen H deposit booster agreement. This is the agreement that lays out the terms of the deposit booster's contribution. This will detail when repayment will be made and how this will be structured. Repayment to the deposit booster is managed by Gen H, and this can all be tracked via your Gen H dashboard.

What happens if the property is repossessed?

If the owner was to not pay the mortgage for a sustained period, and the home did have to be repossessed, you would be on the list of creditors below Gen H to get your money back from the property, which will be outlined in your Gen H Deposit Booster Agreement.
